Dental Insurance and Payment Options
Dental Insurance
We welcome the opportunity to assist our patients with dental insurance. Pertinent information including subscriber, employer, identification and/or group numbers should be available. As a courtesy, claims are submitted from our office at the time of service. The majority of insurance claims can be transmitted electronically which helps to expedite processing.
It is important for us to stress that your dental insurance is a contract between your employer and the insurance company providing coverage. Benefits received from your plan are based on terms negotiated between those two parties, and not our dental office.
Insurance companies determine the amount paid for each dental procedure. This amount referred to as UCR (usual & customary) may be higher or lower than standard fees for the area. Because insurance companies do not disclose their UCR fees, we may be unable to determine your exact coverage until your claim is filed.
Our staff will do everything possible to ensure that you receive the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. Please remember however, that you are ultimately responsible for all expenses incurred. Therefore, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with your insurance policy as to be fully aware of your coverage including any limitations.
We will send you a monthly statement. Most dental insurance companies respond within four to six weeks from the date that a claim is submitted. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility.
Payment Options
Dr. Bryant and staff are committed to providing excellent dental care and guiding patients in choosing the best payment option for their individual needs. Patients may choose to pay for services with cash or check, or may wish to pay with a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card.
In addition to the options mentioned above, we offer third party financing through CareCredit®. This company helps patients obtain the treatment that they need through no-interest or extended payment plans. Our staff is happy to assist patients with the application process.
We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at (574) 264–4161. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.
